Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are handling OpenAI's IPO documents, with the application possibly being submitted as early as Friday.
According to AIMPACT on May 21, OpenAI is collaborating with investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to draft the IPO prospectus, planning to secretly submit regulatory documents in the coming days, with the earliest submission on this Friday, aiming for a September listing but still uncertain. Previously, the company had won legal disputes with co-founder and CEO Elon Musk, removing a major obstacle on the IPO path, but the market remains concerned about whether it can generate sufficient revenue to support its massive data center expenditures.
