Anthropic funding documents disclose that Q2 revenue is expected to reach $10.9 billion, achieving profitability at the operational level for the first time
The Wall Street Journal reports that Anthropic's revenue in the second quarter reached $10.9 billion, more than doubling from $4.8 billion in the first quarter, marking its first operational profit. However, due to the enormous demand for computing power, it may be difficult to achieve full-year profitability this year, with profits excluding stock-based compensation. The disclosed data from this funding round could push the company's valuation above that of OpenAI. Last summer, the company stated that it might not achieve full-year profitability until 2028.
