Pausing the bridge is the right move; stop the bleeding first before discussing anything else.

On May 21, the Map Protocol/Butter Network cross-chain bridge was attacked on Ethereum and BSC. The attacker minted approximately 10 trillion MAPO to a new EOA, which is about 4.8 million times the supply of about 208 million, and earned approximately 52.2 ETH in profit. MAP Protocol has paused MAPO ERC-20 and mainnet bridging; do not trade on Uniswap. Once security is restored, trades will be fully handled, and funds are risk-free. ButterSwap has been paused and is investigating together with external security partners.
