Echo Protocol Exploit on Monad Mints 1,000 eBTC, Curvance Pauses Market

Echo Protocol suffered an exploit on Monad that let an attacker mint 1,000 eBTC worth about $76.64 million. Curvance paused the affected market, and Echo suspended all cross-chain transactions while both teams investigate. Monad CEO Keone Hon said security researchers found that about $816,000 appears to have been stolen and that the Monad network was not impacted.
