BlockBeats reported on May 21 that Sui has announced the launch of a gas-free stablecoin transfer feature. With peer-to-peer transfers, there is no gas fee or additional SUI balance required, bringing stablecoin transfers down to $0. Supported multi-currencies include USDsui, SuiUSDe, AUSD, FDUSD, USDB, USDC, USDY, and more, provided by Fireblocks, and now live on the mainnet. This feature is based on the new account balance system, Address Balances, which simplifies fund storage and transfer and improves usability. Since August 2025, the stablecoin transfer volume has exceeded $1 trillion, and the official said it will help Sui become the core infrastructure for enterprise payments and fintech scenarios.
