SpaceX IPO prospectus discloses related-party transactions: purchasing from Tesla reaching $890 million since 2023

Mars Finance News, May 21 — Local time May 20, SpaceX filed its IPO prospectus revealing that since 2023, SpaceX and the previously acquired xAI have contributed approximately $890 million in revenue to Tesla.
The document shows that the majority of this massive transaction involves energy storage business.
Among them, in 2024 and 2025, xAI purchased Megapack energy storage batteries worth $191 million and $506 million from Tesla, respectively, to support its AI infrastructure development.
In addition, last year, SpaceX also purchased about $131 million worth of electric pickup trucks Cybertruck from Tesla.
Apart from the above businesses, the prospectus also confirms that Tesla and SpaceX are currently jointly building the Terafab semiconductor manufacturing plant. (Tech Stock News Report)
