Mars Finance News: On May 21, it was reported that on May 20 (local time), SpaceX disclosed in a listing application filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that the company has already invested more than $15 billion in the development of the giant “Starship” rocket project. This figure exceeds CEO Elon Musk’s 2018 R&D cost forecast of $2 billion to $10 billion. The documents show that SpaceX’s R&D spending on “Starship” is accelerating: the project’s R&D expenditure is about $3 billion in 2025, while in 2024 it was $1.84 billion. Currently, both the manufacturing and launches of “Starship” are being carried out at Starbase in southern Texas. (Tech Stock Treasure Report)

So, when will Starship actually be commercially operational for recovery? Don't turn it into the next Falcon Heavy delay saga again.

Estimated 2-10 billion in 2018, now over 15 billion; Elon Musk's ability to paint a picture is indeed top-notch.
