An American girl recently dug up her mom’s Walmart shopping receipt from 20 years ago at home.

The date is stuck in 2006.
She bought 79 items, plus tax, and the total came to just $161.87.
The receipt lists Coca-Cola, chicken wings, eggs, salmon, potatoes, and cabbage.
When she looked closely, she found that many items were so cheap it was hard to believe—only $0.33.
Like canned sweet peas and seasonings, their prices were just 33 cents.
Seeing it now, it really feels like there’s a “time filter” 😅
Prices in the U.S. have gone out of control these past few years.
Back then, spending a little over $100
was enough to fill a huge fridge and an entire kitchen cabinet.
Now?
The whole family’s meal out is gone in no time 😭
