I just got the itch again and wanted to chase a position, clicking confirm on the mouse, then paused for a second and asked myself: Am I seeing new information, or is the group’s vibe of “If you don’t get in now, it’ll be too late” pushing me to add more? Honestly, many times it’s not that the logic has changed, but that the mindset has been led by the rhythm.
Recently, the narrative around AI Agents and automated trading has been pretty hot, everyone’s talking about “letting robots help you interact on the chain,” sounds great, but what I care more about is: who has the permissions, what was signed, and whether it can be revoked if something goes wrong. Not to mention whether I made a profit or not, if the keys are lost, everything’s pointless afterward.
Anyway, I have this old habit: if I really want to chase, I only take a small position, split into batches, set take profit, and keep it in a cold wallet without moving it. The group chat is pretty lively today, but I’ll just treat it as background noise for now, that’s all.
