A bunch of messages in the group + a picture from a KOL—seriously, it’s really easy to make people itch to chase. To put it plainly, the ones who impulsively pay are still the ones themselves. Others can at most be “passing the knife,” but I’d rather take the blame on myself first: any order that isn’t written into the records will not be executed—execution is what saves you.

I recently saw everyone venting about miners/validators’ income, MEV front-running, and unfair ordering, and it’s even easier to lose your mind: I just placed a limit order, and the very next second someone cuts in line on-chain, and the tx is still stuck looping around in the mempool… So I just set the slippage and the maximum failed-retry attempts to the max. If it can’t get filled, then so be it.

Anyway, when it comes to information overload, blocking group messages is more effective than looking for a “reliable KOL.” Live first, then slowly pick up more deterministic opportunities.
