News from CoinWorld, according to South Korean Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Electronics and its Korean union reached a preliminary wage agreement on Wednesday, avoiding a planned long-term strike that could disrupt the production of artificial intelligence and other chips. Samsung Electronics' union announced on the 20th through the union members' struggle guide that the total strike originally scheduled from May 21 to June 7 will be postponed, with the specific date to be announced later. All union members will participate in a vote on the tentative 2026 wage agreement, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (local time) on the 23rd to the 28th.
