Google Launches Gemini 3.5 Flash as AI Competition Moves Toward Real-Time Multimodal Creation
has officially released the Gemini 3.5 Flash model, introducing expanded multimodal capabilities that allow users to directly edit videos through natural language prompts.
Personally, I think this shows how quickly the AI industry is moving beyond text generation into full creative workflow automation.
The ability to modify video content using simple language commands dramatically lowers the technical barrier for content creation. Tasks that once required advanced editing software and professional experience are gradually becoming accessible through conversational AI interfaces.
Another important factor is speed.
The AI race is no longer only about model intelligence — it’s increasingly about usability, real-time interaction, and integration across different media formats including text, images, audio, and video.
Personally, I think multimodal AI will become one of the defining technologies of the next decade.
As these systems improve, AI models may evolve from simple assistants into complete production environments capable of handling editing, design, research, communication, and automation simultaneously.
At the same time, competition across the AI sector is intensifying rapidly.
Companies are now competing not only for performance benchmarks, but also for ecosystem dominance, user adoption, and infrastructure scale.
And right now, the industry appears to be entering a phase where AI is no longer just enhancing creative tools —
it is beginning to replace entire layers of traditional software workflows.
