Although I didn’t jump on the hype, I observed it all night tonight and did an overall analysis. Around 52 should be the top point. The news that was released earlier really did push it up quite a lot—I went to verify it; it’s indeed true. But this kind of news is more of a signal before the market tops out.

I didn’t get in. I didn’t catch the spot price’s upside—so am I still supposed to profit from a double on my short position?

If you bought spot at the hype, you still need to first protect your principal. Even if it breaks the previous high, you still need to get your principal back. I think Bitcoin’s performance tonight is pretty weak—it didn’t even reach 783. Bitcoin dropping is especially dangerous—especially when you’re “playing warm”!
