Celsius's former Chief Revenue Officer sentenced to regulatory release
The Southern District of New York Federal Court in the United States has sentenced former Chief Revenue Officer Roni Cohen-Pavon of Celsius to time served and ordered him to be released under one year of supervised release. He admitted to fraud and manipulating the price of CEL tokens, involving significant user losses after Celsius's collapse in 2022. According to the agreement, he must pay over $1 million in restitution and a $40k fine.
