CoinWorld News reports that MoneyGram, a US cross-border remittance and payments company, announced that it has become an “anchored remittance verifier” for Tempo, a Layer 1 blockchain jointly developed by Stripe and Paradigm. It will verify remittance transactions on the network and integrate stablecoin settlement for its global fund flows, including those involving Stripe. Tempo is designed for stablecoin trading and exchange, with target use cases including remittances, retail commerce, and enterprise fund management. Its enterprise verifiers also include Stripe, Visa, and Zodia Custody. Tempo launched its mainnet in mid-March and completed a $500 million Series A funding round in October last year.
