I just looked at the list of popular gold shops people tend to buy from in 2026, so I wanted to share my thoughts because I noticed that many people are still confused about where to buy gold jewelry.
Honestly, in my view, the key is to find a trustworthy shop with a long history and that is a member of the Gold Traders Association. If you buy from a shop like that, you’ll get a better price when you sell it back. I’ve heard that Yaowarat, Hua Seng Heng, Mae Thong Sook, and Ossiris are all long-established shops that people have trusted.
Each shop has its own strengths. Some focus on gold bars for investment, while others focus on gold jewelry for accessories. If I’m going to buy gold jewelry, I usually choose a branch near my home and check the prices first, because the reference prices come from the association, but the premium/processing fees may be different.
The important thing is to check the weight in front of the staff, keep the warranty card, and when you sell it back, sell to the same shop you bought it from; otherwise, you might lose money. Has anyone ever tried buying gold jewelry at any shop? Do you like that shop?
