CryptoWorld News reports that Iranian Parliament Speaker Karibaf stated in an audio address to the public that the Iranian government has taken note of recent increases in the prices of some basic goods and of the resulting rise in the cost of living for the people. He noted that the Iranian people have continued to deal with pressure from the United States and Israel for roughly 80 days, while also facing economic difficulties in their day-to-day lives. Karibaf said that the rising prices of some basic goods, higher living costs, lower purchasing power, and fewer employment opportunities are becoming problems the public is currently dealing with. He emphasized that the Iranian people have remained united in recent times and continue to “stand on the front lines against the enemy.” Karibaf called on relevant institutions and officials to devote themselves to service work with the same spirit and determination, and to strive to address the people’s livelihood issues.
