I want to know what time the stock market closes today? If you just started trading Thai stocks, this is something you need to know clearly.
The Thai stock market divides trading into 2 sessions. The morning session opens from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The afternoon session opens from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. But before the actual trading begins, there is a pre-open period where traders can see approximate prices, and there is a random opening time as well.
Before the market closes today (around 4:35-4:40 PM), there is a pre-close period for submitting final orders. The actual closing time is randomly determined to prevent price manipulation. Therefore, the closing time each day is not the same every time.
The key point is that the first opening period (10:00-10:30 AM) and the period just before closing are usually highly volatile. They are suitable for speculative trading, but caution is needed due to the risks. If you want to trade confidently, you must know the exact opening and closing times because we cannot trade stocks outside of trading hours.
