I just found out that many people are confused about the opening and closing times of the Thai stock market 😅 because the Thai evening session's closing time isn't exactly a straight closing time.
The Thai stock market is divided into 2 sessions: morning 10:00-12:30 and afternoon 14:30-16:30. As for the Thai evening session (market closing), it starts from 16:30 onwards, with a pre-close period from 16:30-16:35, followed by a random closing time between 16:35-16:40, which is the final market close of the day.
What you need to know is that the market opening time isn't always exactly 9:55, because there's also a random window from 9:55-10:00. Therefore, if you want to trade from the very beginning, you should prepare by 9:30 so you won't miss the period when prices are highly volatile.
