After the midday period from 12:30 to 14:00, the Thai stock market opens again for the afternoon session from 14:30 to 16:30. As for the pre-close before the market closes at 16:30, there is about 5 minutes.

Now I understand that knowing the market opening and closing times is extremely important for speculation, because each time period has different price movement characteristics. The morning opening session, in particular, is when morning news and pending orders from the previous day have the biggest impact.
