Hey, I found out that in 2025 the way we make money has really changed. It’s no longer just working 9 to 5 in an office — now anyone with a cell phone can generate a legitimate extra income. I tested several apps to make money and I’ll be honest about which ones really work.

I started with TikTok and YouTube because everyone talks about them. On TikTok, if you get 10,000 followers, money starts coming in from views and engagement. YouTube is slower, you need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours watched, but once you hit it, it pays off really well. Then I looked into investment apps — I tested Mitrade and IC Markets. These are more technical, you trade gold, Bitcoin, oil in real time. You can earn a lot, but it’s risky if you don’t know what you’re doing.

In Brazil, Kwai is pretty cool if you like short videos. Pays quickly via Pix and has daily bonuses. Medium also works if you know how to write — I earn from subscriber reads. Then there are affiliate apps, like Temu and Shopee. You share a link, someone buys, you earn a commission. Just like that.

For those who prefer more traditional work, Workana and 99Freelas connect you with clients who pay per project — design, writing, translation, programming. Payments are secure and in reais.

My tip? Don’t put all your eggs in one app to make money. I test them in parallel, see which one pays better for my style, and then focus. Some apps pay via PayPal, others by bank transfer, Pix — read the terms before you start. And don’t believe in promises of easy money, you know? It really takes dedication, but you can turn free time into real cash.
