China's Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index surged 3.81% to 1,775.13 points, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.92%, and the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index increased 0.48%. Most European markets declined, with Italy's FTSE MIB down 0.71% and Spain's IBEX 35 down 0.56%. In the United States, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.84% to 25,870.71 points, the S&P 500 Index declined 0.67%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.65% to 49,363.88 points.
