I find that I am much more sensitive to unrealized losses than unrealized gains… When I make a profit, at most I feel good for a while; when I lose, my brain automatically works overtime, lying in bed thinking “Should I cut, am I misreading the narrative.” Honestly, losses seem to be a reminder that “aesthetics are worthless,” even if it’s just on paper.

I thought buying NFTs as souvenirs would prevent me from being driven by emotions, but when the floor price drops, I still can’t help but refresh a few times before bed, which is quite embarrassing. On the other hand, when prices rise, I even start to doubt whether it’s a bubble or if someone is manipulating the market.

Recently, looking at the collapse points of blockchain games with inflation + studio + coin price spiral, it’s more like turning the loss aversion amplifier to the maximum: originally just “playing,” but eventually turning into “fear.” I now try to treat my positions as tickets, not as a test of character… for now, that’s it.
