These days, a friend pulled me into some "social mining," basically checking in + sharing + @-mentioning people to earn points. I was clicking along and felt like a pixel miner digging in empty air... The funniest part is, after all that, the badge still didn't light up, and my time was already drained. The group was still complaining about miners/validators' income and how the MEV sorting system is unfair, with retail users queuing up like fighting for the last spoonful of food in the cafeteria—pretty real.

My attitude towards points and identities now is simple: you can play, but don’t get hooked. Points aren’t personality, and badges aren’t real friends. Don’t turn your life into an assembly line just for being an "early contributor"; I’d rather earn fewer points but take a closer look at who’s actually making money and who’s waiting in line on the chain. Anyway, hype comes and goes quickly—better to protect yourself first and not hand over all your time to the leaderboard.
