One of the most influential figures in modern artificial intelligence and a founding member of OpenAI, Andrej Karpathy, is joining Anthropic in a major talent shift in the global AI race.
Karpathy said he believes the next few years will “redefine AI,” adding that he is pausing parts of his education mission to return full-time to frontier LLM research and development.
