Recently, I was looking for an app to invest with little money and ended up comparing several platforms. Honestly, if you're just starting out, MiTrade is quite accessible (minimum $20) and the interface isn't overwhelming like others. AvaTrade and XM are more for those who already know what they're doing, especially if you want to use MetaTrader.

Plus500 has a huge catalog of assets if you like active trading, but eToro has that copy trading system that’s interesting for learning by watching what others do. The truth is, each investment app has its own vibe depending on what you're looking for.

What surprised me is that most don’t charge commissions, only spreads. That said, before putting in money, you need to be clear that all of this involves risk. Has anyone else tried any of these?
