Recently, I started researching trading apps to get started without having to tie up a huge amount of capital—and honestly, there are more options than I thought. The thing is, you no longer need thousands of dollars to get into this. There are several better trading apps that let you start with just $20 or $50.
MiTrade surprised me because the interface is clean and not full of clutter. You can trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, and gold—all from a single account. The minimum deposit is $20 USD, and you get $50k in demo money to practice without risk. It’s ideal if you’re just starting out. AvaTrade is more for people who already know what they’re doing, especially if you want to use MetaTrader 4 or 5. Plus500 has a huge selection of assets (more than 2800) and has just entered the futures markets. XM is excellent if high leverage is your thing—it goes up to 1000x—but of course, that comes with risk. And eToro... well, eToro is the social network of trading. You directly copy the trades of experienced traders, and it works pretty well for learning.
What became clear to me is that the best trading apps depend on your profile. If you’re a beginner, MiTrade or eToro are your best options. If you already have experience and want more powerful tools, AvaTrade or XM. For those looking for a variety of assets, Plus500 is a solid choice. All of them have low or zero commissions, so the difference comes down to the experience and features. Before putting real money in, I would practice with the demo accounts that all of them offer. Trading always involves risk, so it’s better to take it step by step.
