If I could only keep one habit: I would regularly check once a month where the project's treasury funds are being spent. Honestly, no matter how beautiful the milestones are written, honesty in expenditure records is more important—whether the money is spent on development/auditing/infrastructure that leaves something behind, or on daily marketing, spreading everywhere, and ending up with only KOL screenshots. Recently, I’ve been observing the collapse of blockchain games, and it’s pretty much the same—when inflation kicks in, studios enter the scene, and token prices spiral, it’s even more frightening when the treasury keeps accelerating its money burn. I only dare to catch rebounds in liquidity I understand; whether the project team is serious or not, sometimes just watching how they spend money is enough. If I make a profit, I treat myself to a coffee, for now.
