I’ve been testing a lot of AI tools lately and thought it was worth sharing which ones really work without costing anything. The number of free artificial intelligence websites has grown quite a lot, and honestly, most of them offer features that just a few years ago only large companies could access.

I started with ChatGPT because practically everyone uses it. The free version now accesses GPT-5 models with usage limits, but after that the tool switches to lighter, faster versions. It works well for writing, generating basic images, programming, summarizing content... basically it covers a lot. If you need more usage, the Plus plan costs around US$ 20 per month.

Google Gemini is another interesting option, especially if you already use Gmail, Drive, and Docs. The key difference here is that it pulls information in real time from the web, which is really useful for research and quick decisions. Free as well, with basic image limits.

Then there’s DeepSeek, which gained fame for being fast and efficient. I use it a lot for analysis and math, and when I need deeper explanations. The web version is practically free.

For people who work with video, Lumen5 is sensational. It turns text into social media-ready video in minutes. The free plan has project limits, but it’s a great way to test it. Descript makes podcast or video editing much easier because you edit through the text itself.

If you deal with scientific articles, SciSpace simplifies everything. It generates summaries, explains technical language, and helps with research. It’s perfect for students.

For PDFs, there’s ChatPDF, which is very straightforward: you upload a PDF and chat with it. No registration, no complications.

On the image side, ChatGPT and NightCafe both work well on the free plan. There’s also This Person Doesn’t Exist, which generates realistic faces—useful for mockups. Midjourney no longer offers a free version, only a subscription.

Speaking generally about AI websites, the combination that works well is: ChatGPT or Gemini for text, Lumen5 for video, SciSpace for research, and NightCafe for images. It covers practically everything most people need.

The great thing is that with these free tools today, anyone can create more, better, and faster without spending anything. Marketing, education, design, content creation... everyone benefits from increased productivity. It’s definitely worth exploring each one and seeing which fits best into your workflow.
