This year, I am thinking about buying gold for savings, but I am confused about which store is truly trustworthy, so I researched some information. The first thing to check is whether the store is a member of the Gold Traders Association of Thailand, because this is a sign that the store is accepted and has standards.

From my research, I found that there are many reputable gold shops, such as Yaowarat Gold Shops with over 350 branches nationwide, Hua Seng Heng with a history of over 70 years, and Mae Thong Sook, which offers convenient online gold savings. Or if you prefer skilled dealers, there’s TTK Gold Shop Tangkang, which has been operating for over 160 years since the reign of King Rama V.

But before making a purchase decision, you should clearly ask yourself why you are buying gold—whether for jewelry, long-term investment, or short-term speculation—because each purpose requires a different approach. Choosing a reputable gold shop will help ensure you get good prices and trustworthy transactions.
