Today marks the 107th anniversary of the day when Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk set foot in Samsun and lit the torch of independence—the day our rebirth from the ashes began. Happy 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day!
In the economy, and in life, I always say: the greatest capital is a country’s trained, visionary, and dynamic youth. It is not enough to predict the future; it is you who will build it. A youth that never gives up in the face of hardships, that researches, produces, and steers its own future by improving financial literacy—such youth is the greatest assurance for this country.
There is no place for despair; because struggle and success are woven into the fabric of these lands.
