But the contrast lies here — this number was accumulated in a context where the overall market was not particularly strong.
On-chain dollar liquidity is still continuously expanding, indicating that funds haven't truly exited; they are just changing their posture and waiting on the sidelines.
Stablecoin market cap is the most honest indicator of ammunition in the crypto market; it doesn't deceive.
When the stockpile reaches a historical level but the gunfire hasn't started yet, it means either big funds are waiting for a clear signal, or the foundation for the next market cycle is quietly being laid.
Which possibility is more likely depends on whether the macro environment will provide a window of opportunity next.
