# Near

Nolan just took a quick look at this Near and saw strong and solid upward momentum, so Nolan continued to analyze further to make this assessment. It could be an opportunity or just a bull trap <:db_dunno:959874183419011102> who knows

On the weekly chart, Near remains a weak long-term alt, hasn't reclaimed the MA/Bollinger mid and faces a huge resistance at 3.15 (and major at 2.6)

On smaller timeframes like the W chart, there are signs of a bottom forming, but trend reversal is not confirmed yet. The mandatory condition is that this coin must close the weekly candle above $1.85–2.00. Or on an even smaller timeframe like the D chart, Near is supported after the dip to 2 at $1.48–1.55, with FOMO present on the 4H chart

NEAR is a Layer 1 focused on scalability, low fees, sharding, and currently pushing narratives around AI + chain abstraction. NEAR documentation notes the network has finality around 1–2 seconds, very low transaction fees, supports Chain Signatures and Nightshade sharding.

The most notable features of NEAR today are Chain Signatures and NEAR Intents. Chain Signatures allow NEAR accounts to sign/send transactions across multiple chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Aptos, Cosmos, and other EVM chains; this is the “one account, multiple chains” thesis. NEAR Intents enable users/AI agents to just specify the desired outcome, while competing solvers execute the optimal transaction.

Regarding tokenomics, NEAR has improved: the supply is described as fully unlocked, and the halving upgrade reduces inflation by up to about 50% annually according to NEAR info. This is a plus because it reduces unlock/dilution pressure compared to many other altcoins.

But a major weakness is that on-chain value capture is currently not strong. DeFiLlama reports TVL on NEAR around $129M, stablecoin market cap about $120M, DEX volume in 24h around $13.27M, chain fees in 24h only about $1,378. Compared to a market cap over $2B, revenue/TVL is still quite small, meaning NEAR’s price still heavily depends on narratives, altcoin flows, and future expectations rather than actual on-chain activity.

# Síc lồ
Nolan sees two possible strategies: breakout or DCA.
### Breakout
Wait for the daily/weekly close above $1.85–2.00, then buy on breakout. This increases the probability of trend reversal.
### DCA
Buy around $1.55–$1.65, hold cash for more at $1.48, and only add significantly if it surpasses $1.85–$2.00.

**Stop Loss:** $1.30, just a little below
**Take Profit:** $1.85 → $2.00 → $2.35 → **$2.60–$2.65** → $3.10.
# Summary

NEAR is worth monitoring and can be accumulated gradually, as the project has good tech/narrative, improved tokenomics, and is currently at a low price compared to historical levels. But it’s not yet strong enough to buy heavily right now because the major trend has not reversed and on-chain data remains weak.

It might be suitable for exploratory buys, but FOMO should be avoided. For spot trading, only commit 20–30% of the intended position at the current zone; the rest should wait for retest or confirmed breakout.
