From zero to independently writing a market prediction script, how long does it take?
My cousin's answer is about 2 months.
From March to May
During the New Year, my cousin came to my house and watched me write a Polymarket script on my computer for a few hours. I just roughly explained what I was doing.
He then went back to research and ponder (we hardly communicated during this time).
In about half a month, he developed a live testing version.
Today he told me he started making a profit after running it for a day.
Of course, whether it can sustain stable profits long-term still needs time to verify.
But it’s enough to show many things.
He works in advertising design. He quit his job in March and switched industries to do this.
I was very surprised that he could get started so quickly.
In these two months, he completed all the work independently.
I hardly communicated with him at all.
Also, I had wanted to teach my younger brother before, but he wasn’t even willing to try. Now he’s gone to work.
