Recently, I've come across a bunch of narratives about PFPs + membership passes, with headlines suggesting that just by joining a club, you can "upgrade your identity"... Honestly, many times what you're buying isn't long-term value, but a period of attention and chat group buzz. For truly useful memberships, I think simplicity is better: being able to meet people offline, connect resources, and continuously produce content. Otherwise, no matter how cool the avatar is, it's just a skin swap.

And also, when a certain region increases taxes or tightens compliance (or suddenly loosens it), people's expectations for deposits and withdrawals immediately become more realistic: turns out, no matter how many "membership benefits" there are, they can't compare to whether you can smoothly transfer money in and out. Anyway, I'm now more willing to buy small experience tickets to test it out for a few weeks and see if it can sustain itself through operations... Let's see.
