This morning, I saw someone on the blockchain being stuck on the "waiting for confirmation" screen, panicking. I actually think this step is quite crucial... Bridges, to put it simply, are a gamble on whether multi-signature signers are reliable enough and whether the oracle-reported data is accurate enough. Any sneeze in any link of the process, and your assets might "be bridged over and never come back." My current habit is to prefer to go slower, wait for more confirmations, at least leaving myself a window to detect anomalies.

Recently, Meme + celebrity shoutouts have caused a rapid rotation of attention. Newcomers get excited and want to jump in immediately, and veteran players advising against taking the last step isn't just pretending to be deep... Especially when you have to cross chains to chase, the risks stack up. Anyway, I just see it as patching myself: not chasing the hottest trend, keeping the bridge as simple as possible, small fixes and tweaks can help it last longer.
