Today I once again made the bad habit of opening trades randomly. After training the students, he was doing practice, then around 3 o'clock he told me that Trump postponed the military action against Iran scheduled for tomorrow, and then Bitcoin shot up with a bullish candle. Instinctively, I went short at 76701. Then I immediately realized I was just blindly opening trades again, with no signals at all. Trading based on news is just asking for death. I closed the position immediately, small loss! When you make a mistake, you must stop right away, regardless of profit or loss!

Then I started reflecting: should I go long or short? In the end, I added to my long position, placing the stop loss at the previous low. When I have a solid reason to enter, I can hold onto the trade and won’t feel anxious. Even if I’m wrong, I can review it accurately.

The reasons for entry are as follows:
On a small timeframe, Bitcoin has formed a support structure, around 760 is the support level, below that is 750. After falling to 760, it started to stabilize, showing an upward structure and bullish indicator signals. Short positions around 820 were mostly knocked out by rebounds, like my 816 short, many people wouldn’t dare to short at 790, fearing another rebound to 820 and getting stopped out. But around 783-776, many shorts entered, catching this downward move. Some closed their positions, others waited for a big drop to profit big. So, 783-776 is the zone where the market makers want to sweep stops, to clear out losses before continuing downward.

After the overall analysis, I reached the conclusion I mentioned at the start: go more into the trade. Of course, if it drops, I accept the loss. This mindset is much better—no anxiety, clear reasons for entering. If I’m wrong, I can review with a reference. Finally, I can sleep peacefully. No need to chase short positions based on news, which has no real reason. Just watching the 5-minute chart makes me anxious, afraid to take a bite. I don’t know where it will go up or down, just like a fool!
