These days I've been looking at PFPs and various "membership cards," honestly many times what you're buying isn't the image but a piece of social narrative and a chance to be seen.

I think the long-term value depends on two points: whether the project team can continue to deliver (not just a few posters), and whether there is real activity on-chain data; otherwise, once the hype fades, only the avatar remains.
Short-term attention isn't a bad thing either, at least it can boost liquidity and discussion, but what I’m more worried about now is being carried away by the attention, slipping and chasing the high.

By the way, it's pretty outrageous that hardware wallets are out of stock… phishing links are everywhere, people's security awareness has improved, but they’re also more anxious.
Anyway, I now assume any "airdrop/whitelist" is a scam before clicking, better to miss out than do the work for nothing.
What about you?
