Lately, I've been really into experimenting with L2, basically trying to find a less painful balance between gas fees and user experience. I thought once I moved to L2, it would be like a "free highway," but whenever I cross chains or withdraw back to the mainnet, I still have to pay tuition... My mindset immediately shifts from relaxed to cautious.

My current compromise is: small, frequent interactions on L2, with the mainnet acting as a vault, moving as little as possible. If I really need to go back to the mainnet, I save up and do it all at once, preferring to go slow rather than bouncing back and forth. By the way, I’ve been watching the community argue about privacy coins, coin mixing, and regulatory boundaries, and it feels similar: everyone wants to be "more user-friendly," but once rules and risks come into play, they start to dislike each other. Anyway, I prefer to play it safe, just observing and complaining about the hype in the short term.
