Last night I revisited my old "lazy to change" unlimited authorization, and I felt a chill... Honestly, this is almost like sleeping with the door unlocked: you think you're just avoiding some hassle, but if something really happens, one transaction fee won't solve it. Now I basically revoke permissions immediately after use, or at least regularly review my authorization records, preferring to do more operations rather than gambling on luck.
Recently, everyone has been complaining that validators/miners earn too much, and MEV makes the ordering unfair. I also feel strongly: many "passive losses" on the chain are beyond your reaction, and leaving authorization open is like leaving a backdoor. Anyway, before I sleep now, I do two fixed things: check if there are any suspicious flows of stablecoins, and clean up any suspicious authorizations, so I feel more at ease.
