USDT.D's rise is generally interpreted as negative for the crypto market. Because USDT dominance shows how much of the total money in the market is held in stablecoins. In other words, when dominance increases, it means investors are moving out of risky assets and into USDT.
Although USDT.D has been making lower lows especially in recent weeks on the chart, it has now started to produce a strong rebound within the channel. If the movement continues toward the upper band of the channel, a rise to approximately 7.6–8.0% could occur. This scenario usually puts pressure on Bitcoin and altcoins.
Because as USDT.D rises, liquidity is pulled from the market. Investors prefer to wait in cash. Risk appetite decreases. Altcoins are affected more sharply than Bitcoin.
A short-term correction in Bitcoin on the chart could lead to a deeper pullback in altcoins.
