A rural girl from out of town, who barely passed the civil service exam in the city and cleared the political review, suddenly was told by her original unit that they would strictly enforce the service period, with an official document issued that day prohibiting her from leaving.
She was crying uncontrollably in the office, and a senior brother reminded her: What's the use of crying here? Go cry in the director's office.
The next day she went, and cried in the director's office for the whole morning.
In the afternoon, the bureau held a meeting, and they released her.
