It bothers me to open this app and come across accounts with thousands or millions of followers sharing opinions, analysis, and recommendations about the market that are outright garbage.
And the worst part isn't just reading them… the worst part is the number of people who consume and reproduce that content.
I just saw a guy showing a Coinglass chart, the typical visual resource to "impact," saying that those who are long are idiots because "obviously" you should go short since there's long liquidity above.
And you think: how can someone speak with such certainty without truly understanding how the market works?
Of course we're in a long position, damn it!
We've been up since 59k!
Since February!!
I know I shouldn't worry about what people publish or do on this network.
After all, I'm busy earning my money on my own.
But it makes me angry to see how now anyone proclaims themselves a "trading expert."
Maybe I should be more selfish and rejoice that there's so much ignorance, because in the end, that also produces liquidity.
But after so many years managing communities, I've seen firsthand individuals who liquidated their accounts and ended up literally on the street, some even with children.
And I've also witnessed others building fortunes.
For that reason, when you run a community, you carry a responsibility.
Many, just to gain followers and monetize attention, end up sacrificing their own base.
Instead of instructing, they focus on creating sensationalist, superficial, and incorrect content to get engagement.
Serious and responsible education remains the only weapon against the plague of charlatans.
