Bosideng was pushed aside by her niece, and the aunt was ousted from the position. Bosideng’s boss married his original wife first, then in a second marriage married his original wife’s biological niece.


Jieliya—each in the first and second generation—took a separate second marriage to the aunt’s sister’s daughter; after the son and the father both remarried, they became brothers-in-law. The original wife’s eldest grandson is now a “transparent person” in the company.
Huali, during her second pregnancy’s maternity confinement, saw that her husband and her younger sister-in-law had developed feelings for each other. Later, her parents-in-law, her biological father and mother—all kept it from her and cheated her into getting a divorce. By the time she finally realized it, her biological younger sister had already given birth, leaving the original wife with two daughters, all in a truly miserable plight.
