Many people think that the next bull market will be a contest of who can tell the best stories.

But I increasingly feel that the protocols that truly stick around are often those doing the most boring things.
Interest rates, maturities, cash flows—these words sound emotionless, but they are precisely the core foundation of the entire financial world.
It’s because of this that I’ve recently been paying more attention to @TermMaxFi. It gives me the feeling that it’s not like traditional DeFi projects, but more like someone rebuilding a bond market on-chain.
Fixed income automatically pays out upon maturity, different maturities form different yield structures, and funds begin to stratify again according to risk preferences.
This feeling is very subtle because when yields no longer depend entirely on price fluctuations, the overall market temperament will change.
That night, I suddenly realized one thing: many people entered crypto in the past to seek explosive gains.
But increasingly, more funds are entering the on-chain space just to seek stability, and stability is often more scarce than explosive gains.
What excites me most about TermMax is not a single feature, but the direction it reveals.
The on-chain world is finally starting to seriously learn how to become a true financial market.
