Wang Zhiwen has a classic line in "Tian Dao": "I no longer argue with others because I’ve begun to realize that everyone can only consider problems from their own perspective. Having money allows you to do things well; without money, you can only do people well. Your kindness to others is like a piece of candy—once eaten, it’s gone—while your badness is like a scar that will always remain."

Lu Xun said: "A snake doesn’t know it’s poisonous; a person doesn’t know they’re wrong because everyone only sees problems from their own perspective."
Adults’ joys and sorrows are not the same; the same thing always appears vastly different to different people. Different positions, fewer words are better; different levels, no need to explain; different perceptions, no need to force.
As the saying goes, summer insects cannot speak of ice; a frog in a well cannot speak of the sea. Someone standing on a mountain top sees an endless ocean, while someone on a mid-mountain can only see a desolate view.
Everyone can only live within their own cognitive radius and only believes what they see. Therefore, never argue with others, even try to persuade them, or you will only fall into others’ traps and waste your life.
Drink with friends who understand you; talk with those who share your interests. Don’t compete for superiority, don’t argue about right or wrong. Know when to stay silent; sometimes retreat is the best move.
Life is full of hardships and bitterness, but no matter the circumstances, you must do two things: stay true to your conscience and never cross your bottom line. Be a good person before doing things; establish virtue first.
People with poor morals will ultimately become loners. Don’t ruin your character for profit; don’t lose people’s trust because of schemes.
