Golden Finance reports that on May 18, according to the UK Financial Times, artificial intelligence company Anthropic has agreed to provide a special briefing to relevant personnel of the Financial Stability Board regarding its Mythos AI model.
This briefing will focus on explaining the security vulnerabilities found in the global financial system network defense system by the model.
The news cites two informed sources saying that this communication was proposed by Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, who requested Anthropic to introduce its new Claude Mythos preview version AI model to the Financial Stability Board.
The Financial Stability Board is currently drafting a report on compliance standards for artificial intelligence applications in the financial industry, with a draft scheduled for release next month for public consultation.
Both the Financial Stability Board and Anthropic declined to comment on recent communications between the two parties.
