#GrimOutlookForUSIranTalks
🚨 US-Iran nuclear talks are entering a dangerous deadlock.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran has “no trust” in Washington and will only continue negotiations if the US proves it is genuinely serious. Iranian officials point to mixed signals and contradictory statements coming from American leadership as a major obstacle.
At the same time, President Trump reportedly dismissed Iran’s latest proposal as “garbage,” despite indications that Tehran had offered limited nuclear concessions. The biggest sticking point remains Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile — one of the hardest issues at the center of the negotiations.
Russia has previously offered to remove the uranium stockpile if Iran agrees, while China may now play a larger diplomatic role as tensions continue to rise.
Pakistan-led mediation efforts have not collapsed, but Iranian officials admit the process is facing “serious difficulty.”
With military pressure increasing and the Strait of Hormuz effectively restricted for much of global shipping, fears are growing that diplomacy may be running out of time.
The world is watching closely. 🌍
