Tencent Public Beta AI Design Agent Ardot: Connects to the IDE via MCP and supports private component library generation
CryptoWorld News, Tencent has launched the public beta of its self-developed AI design agent platform Ardot today. The core mechanism of the platform involves converting AI-generated design drafts into structured data and connecting directly to external IDEs via MCP (Model Context Protocol). On the design side, Ardot supports batch generation or modification of vector interfaces through natural language and allows direct import of Figma files. To prevent uncontrollable AI drawing standards issues, the platform has opened access to an enterprise private business component library, enabling AI-generated drafts to directly follow the team’s existing design standards. On the handoff side, design assets containing variables, components, and layout data can be directly read by development tools such as CodeBuddy, Cursor, and Claude Code via the MCP protocol. Developers can generate front-end code with a single click within the IDE, replacing traditional manual slicing and annotation processes. The platform currently offers an initial quota of 1,000 credits, and a built-in multi-user online review feature has been launched simultaneously.
