LSTs and re-staking have been on my mind again recently. The more I look at them, the more I feel they all revolve around one word: "waiting" — waiting for confirmation, waiting for a pullback, waiting to think things through clearly. Where exactly does the profit come from? Honestly, it’s still about people willing to pay for security, liquidity, and service, plus the validator’s income, and the small scraps squeezed out from various "packaging sequences." But the risks are pretty straightforward: if the underlying layer has an issue, everything shakes; re-staking stacks trust on top of trust, leading to penalties, smart contract vulnerabilities, liquidity being locked up... all of which could easily go wrong. Recently, everyone’s been complaining about miner/validator income, MEV, and fairness in ordering, which I can understand. It feels like I’m just waiting in line for a script someone else wrote. Anyway, I’m not in a rush to chase high prices; I’ll patiently wait for a more comfortable price and clearer rules. That’s all for now.
